F.B.I. Special Agent Cooper and Sheriff Truman continue their investigation into the murder of Laura Palmer, uncovering more of the young girls’ troubled life. Bobby Briggs, Mike Nelson and James Hurley are released from the town jail. Big Ed Hurley reveals that he was drugged at The Roadhouse. Josie Packard is questioned over Laura’s death. Audrey Horne and Donna Hayward resolve to discover the identity of their friend’s murderer. Doc Hayward releases his autopsy report on Laura. Doctor Jacoby conceals some important information. Catherine Martell plots to take control of the Packard sawmill. Sarah Palmer experiences a terrifying vision of a ferocious, grey-haired man in her daughter’s room.
